A Soft Pastel May Celebration
There is something so effortless about a springtime wedding at Barn House Village, surrounded by close family and friends.
When Dana and Greg first reached out to me through Zola, I instantly loved their, gentle approach to their big day. They met at work, sharing a crush on each other until a conversation about Game of Thrones broke the ice. Fast forward to a warm May morning in Bath, PA, and they were preparing to tie the knot, surrounded by their tight circle of loved ones and the beautiful blended family they’ve built together.
Crafting a Stress-Free Morning
As a photographer, my goal is always to make sure my couples can breathe easy and actually enjoy being present. Since Dana and Greg were planning a simple, homemade day without a wedding coordinator, we worked closely during our pre-wedding timeline call to map out every single detail. I stepped in to keep moments running smoothly and on time, giving them space to simply soak in the excitement.
Dana put so much heart into crafting the details herself. She created custom floral welcome signs, lovingly assembled the flower arrangements, and even designed personalized bookmark favors tucked inside the invitations. The palette was a dreamy mix of soft pinks, light greens, and calming blues, a palette that harmonized perfectly with the lush, emerging foliage of early May.
When it came to attire, the aesthetic was purely romantic, Dana wore an ethereal ballgown featuring intricate floral lace, subtle sequin appliqués, and dramatic, sheer off-the-shoulder sleeves over delicate tulle mesh. While Greg looked sharp in a classic three-piece light gray suit, accented with an emerald green pocket square and a simple floral boutonnière.
An Intimate Outdoor Ceremony Under Soft Spring Skies
The weather turned out to be a photographer’s dream: warm with gently overcast skies, giving the perfect diffused light. Set against the lush green outdoor backdrop at Barn House Village, Dana and Greg exchanged vows surrounded by their absolute favorite people.
A Heartfelt Reception
After making things official, everyone gathered indoors for an intimate reception. While the room was filled with laughter and traditional parent dances, the single most unforgettable memory of the evening happened during Dana and Greg's first dance. Partway through the song, Greg's son stepped onto the floor to join them. Seeing their blended family hold each other close on the dance floor brought tears to nearly everyone in the room.
Their intimate Barn House Village wedding was a beautiful reminder that you don't need over-the-top decor or complex schedules to have a wedding that feels deeply personal, artful, and full of genuine love.

"Amanda created a detailed schedule that kept our day flowing smoothly and took the stress out of wondering what came next. The final collection of photos is absolutely stunning, we will treasure them for years to come."
